What is the Workforce Training Fund Program?
The Workforce Training Fund Program or WTFP is a Massachusetts state fund created for the purpose of helping pay for the cost of training employees. Most Massachusetts based businesses automatically pay into this fund and is in turn available to them to receive money for training.

General Program
Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to apply. You can apply for up to $250,000 for a Training Grant.
Small Business Direct Access Program
Available for businesses with 100 or fewer employees. Created for smaller-scale training needs, this program offers training slots, free of charge, to eligible businesses.
Express Program
Grant funds are limited to $30,000 per company per calendar year and to $3,000 per employee per course. Approved businesses will be reimbursed for up to 50% of the actual cost of training.

Does my company qualify for the Workforce Training Fund?
If you are a Massachusetts business and pay into the mandatory workforce training fund tax, than you qualify. We work along side businesses of all sizes to help find the best Workforce Training Fund Grant that works best for you and your employees at no direct cost to you.
What types of business can participate?
Any type of business can participate in using the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund, as long as you meet some simple criteria. First, your business or business branch must be located in Massachusetts. Second, your business must participate in paying into the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund. Most companies participate by default unless they specifically request to opt out of the fund.
Do I have to pay anything for your services?
Our services are no cost to you. Our pay comes directly from the grant that has been awarded; the grant written will account our services cost, thus you will still get all the money needed for training.
How do I get started?

Is it difficult to get started?
It can be very difficult to do this on your own, that’s why we are here to help. There are a lot of documents needed and financial reports to be created. It can be quickly overwhelming for any business, but we’ve done it many times and can easily guild you through the process.
How often can I use the fund?
You can apply for the fund once a year. In most cases, applicants are notified of grant outcomes within 60 days from grant submissions. Your company will have a 24-month period to use it with in.
Who can I use as trainers?
You can use any certified trainer that you’d like. Unlike many of our competitors, we do not tie you down to a specific trainer. That said, we have worked with many different trainers and would be happy to suggest some outstanding training organizations if you’d like suggestions.
